This morning, I felt well enough to start work on a series of collages on the birth of Jesus. Here is the first one. I know, I know. I am behind; it’s almost New Year’s Eve for heaven’s sake, but that happens when one is on chemo. Chemo kind of has the opposite effect of high test coffee. They could call chemo “Slo-mo.”
I could go on. However, today is a good morning full of art and creating.

I am amazed at all the decisions I made this morning in order to put this piece together. Hour after hour, I was totally caught up in the process. Colors, shapes, concepts, the star and THE STAR of the whole event. Suddenly, I was feeling faint, and realized I had not eaten or drunk my precious water in too long a period of time. Time for a hearty shake of kale, berries and bananas, while thinking about Jesus, Love come down from heaven to be with each of us.

The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel
(which means God with us.)
