-artwork by my missions pastor, Hilario Pardo.
Today, I was invited to teach my missions pastor what I do around the world with art. (Now that is a gift of an invitation for an artist!) He was an excellent student, and he was able to collage the story of the Prodigal Son as told by Jesus. It’s a great story of love and redemption, and my missions pastor did an excellent job. He is an artist, so he was able to bring many skills and gifts he already has into the process of collage making.
While he was working, I continued working on collaging the story of the Good Samaritan. Below, I am displaying the cards I have made so far. I am hopeful that I will finish this series in the days ahead. So, teaching someone else today has inspired me to keep going on a piece with which I had gotten stuck. Blessings all around.
