My Story, Story Necklace, Marcia Carole
What a day of learning for me! I think jewelry-making is slowly getting easier. Maybe. It will be lots of fun to teach the other ladies on the team how to tell their stories with various colored glass beads. Then, we will do the same, hopefully, with some very special ladies we will share stories with in Thailand.
Each bead represents a significant part of my story. Some are representing grace-filled, happy moments or time periods, some represent dark or hard parts of my story. I have symbols of my faith and my fight with breast cancer in my necklace. I have special jewels to represent my four daughters – the jewels of my life. I will be sharing my story through this necklace.
I hope the ladies who make their necklace stories will meet Jesus and see His heart of love and compassion for each of them.
Isa 61:1-7
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor . . . .to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes , the oil of gladness instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of His splendor.
