What fun to paint alongside my grandson, Calvin, today. He enjoyed painting on the paper and painting his fingers! I loved how he played with the paint, and didn’t worry about a right or wrong way to lay down his colors. He just enjoyed the whole process of creating, including touching, sloshing around, so to speak, in the medium.
Meanwhile, I was more calculating with my work. This is a watercolor I hope to make into cards. However, tomorrow, I think I’ll just play with paint, in honor of my grandson and his wonder and delight in the creative process!
