I’m thinking about breathing today, because last night, my lungs worked better than they have in a long time. They are back to laboring a bit more awkwardly this morning, but the gift of my lungs moving up and down without much effort was sweet last night. Miraculous, really. An answer to much prayer, for which I am very thankful.
If you have been following, my nights are not pleasant at all. I haven’t been able to catch my breath well for quite some time, so when my breathing was “normal” as I dosed off, I marveled at how nice “normal” breathing really feels. It’s a big deal, actually. So, I am thankful today for a night of relaxed, good breathing.
I’ve finished up my collaged cards for the story of the Sower, the Seeds and the Soil, so I thought I’d post them. I have enjoyed creating and also meditating on this particular passage of Scripture. I don’t know what my next project will be, but today, I hope to get out to JoAnn’s and re-stock my papers and get my 30 minute walk completed. (Picture me draped over a shopping cart moving slowly to find a watercolor pad to cut up, while my dad follows worrying I will pass out.)
It is always fun, a great part of the process, to ask God what is next, listen to His voice, read Scripture, and create in response to His leading. Being the Master Artist, He is the ultimate source and encourager for what I create. He deserves the praise for my creating, and, well, my every breath.
