Acrylic on canvas, in process…..
Sometimes, I take a break from helping others tell their stories, and just paint. I am painting a piece for a surprise gift. I started with a blank canvas that was hard to get past. Then, the initial painting/drawing began and came fairly easily. However, painting with acrylic, something I am getting better with, is so different from watercolor or oil. I have to trust the process! The painting continues….
And here is the final piece. The person who requested the work asked for a painting of someone serving food to the poor, because the recipient, Rose, has a love for cooking and caring for the poor!
