One Man’s Story, Acrylic on Canvas, Mixed Media, Marcia Carole

Here is Nebuchadnezzar’s story in shapes and colors. I can’t photograph it without distortion, but you get the idea. The first section represents his life before his pride was full, and the little black rectangle in the green space represents the moment he declared he had created everything and was responsible for his glory. The second section, the mostly black panel, represents the 7 years Neb lived as an animal, and then God reaches into his life (red) and brings him to his senses (third panel).

Finally, Neb gives honor and glory to the one true God(third panel) rather than himself. God is at the center of his heart rather than himself. I am letting this piece rest so I can continue to meditate on the passage and hear what God is saying.
